The love for the one who won't be loved
Her hands were always angry at me,
Her mouth was always disapproving.
Her mind was pure evil and didn’t accept love.
Her words were breathed of ice,
And her heart was made of stone.
Nothing could be done about the look
I received when bad came her way.
I didn’t do anything but look,
And look at this woman I did.
I saw through her and learned;
Learned to look deeper
And love with all of my heart.
I loved, but didn’t receive any back
Until on her death bed, she talked to me,
And told of her life
And apologized for mine.
I accepted this plea
And she found peace at last!
