One of my more depressing pieces.
This darkness has enveloped
My once bright town.
But now the bombs have exploded
And they're bringing the buildings down.

But in the end
We remain alive.
But then we kill ourselves
because of the hurt we feel inside.

And now you've gone missing
I can't seem to find you.
And I fear I may soon find your corpse.
What on Earth did I do?
I never wanted
To let you go!
But you got up and told me
That you already know
That we're done.

Somewhere within the wreckage
My soul resides.
Turned blacker than the ashes
Now my heart endures deep gashes.

And the blood quickly pours
From my heart's chambers to the floor.
You never loved me at all
So why do you say "anymore"?

Now you may re-enter
But, be warned, you may slip.
As the red seeps from the center
You feel the tremble of your lip.

And now you've gone missing.
I can't seem to find you.
And I fear I may soon find your corpse.
I'm sorry for whatever I do.
I never wanted
To let you go!
But you got up and told me
You already know
That we're done!

Now all that is left
Are puddles of red and blue.
There was nothing we could do.
There was nothing lef of you
Nor I...
