Written during one of my lazy days by my favourite lake
Make me a swan so I may fly up high
Grant me the gift of freedom
Let me soar or glide
Sway or stretch my wings out wide
What would it be like, my God
To gleam with a coat of perfect white?
To spend my days enraptured by the sun,
And by night ebb away with the lazy tide?
