This was a prompt for a contest, but I was too late to enter it..but what the heck.

Home is where I hang my heart

Home is where I hang my heart
with a sweet little lady, that's the best part
looking at her just sets my jets a flame.
Long brown hair and eyes of blue
makes me want to shout YAHOO
Oh, it's no wonder my heart is hanging here.

She's the prettiest gal in all the land
has me eating out of her hand
oh, it's no wonder that I love her so.
Don't you know.

When I come home from a long hard day
she always knows just what to say
and cools my hot brow off with a sweet kiss.
Food's on the table and waiting for me
plate of cornbread, ham and black-eyed peas
oh it's no wonder my heart is hanging here.

She's the prettiest gal in all the land
has me eating out of her hand
oh, it's no wonder that I love her so.
Don't you know.
