A description of a storm blowing in and moving out.
Late Afternoon.
The ground filled with cracks, is anxious and fearful.
Thirsty and waterless the grass awaits.
Cows and sheep are lazy and serene.

Darkness.
Howling, the wind blows through the scorched soil.
Hopeful, yet anxious, the people and animals scatter.
Windows are quickly shut.

Downpour.
The sky is overcast, gloomy, and dim.
The thirsty ground gulps for something to drink.
Gusting and moaning the wind chokes the trees.

Relief.
Glistening and laughing the sun comes out to play.
Children run wild splashing in the puddles.
A friendly and relieved world welcomes in the new sunshine.
