Some hungers can't be satisfied.
Author's Note:  This is a contest piece; I won't be editing the on-line version. Any feedback or criticism is still appreciated since it will help me in my future writing.  Due to space reasons, I'll probably be removing this from my portfolio soon after the contest ends; but I'll be saving an off-line copy of any reviews.

The New Girl

At last, She arrived.
Anticipation had been excruciating.
I thanked the one who had brought her.

She was perfection embodied.
Her skin: smooth and flawless.
Her hair: long and golden.

Her resemblance to the others was uncanny.
Ah, the others.  So many others.
Used and then just thrown away.

As always, She remained silent.
Completely in my power.
Unable, no unwilling, to resist me.

I held her and caressed her.
The familiar desires started to take hold.
My tongue brushed the sharp points in my mouth.

I brushed her golden hair aside.
Her neck issued an overwhelming invitation.
Even knowing the risk I couldn't control myself.

The hissing of air was immediate.
I threw my fangs to the ground in disgust.
Too sharp again.
