Don't forget the birthdays!
The lawyer read my Uncle’s will
It quickly became clear
Forgotten birthdays matter still
To those who hold you dear

He left two hundred million bucks
To family who remembered
To send a card or wish good luck
On his birthday, in September.

Some very wide and happy smiles
Appeared amongst the crowd
My cousin Dan and brother Miles
Were looking mighty proud

But for a small embarrassed few
Like me, who kinda forgot
My Uncle’s will had a different view
It said you’ll be getting squat
