frightening night, no one in sight..
WHERE ARE YOU?

Two a.m. at night,
I wake up in fright,
Rain pours,
Thunder roars,
Where are you when I need you utmost?

Mosquito bites,
I hear the rat's demise,
Dogs bark and fight,
I can't get through this night.
Where are you, do you see the toll rise?

There is no respite,
Come, be by my side,
Hold me tight,
Tell me everything's alright,
Where are you, can you hear my plight?

Somehow you treat me so slight,
But would you ever realise?
When you're gone,
Although I act strong,
The moon knows my secret,
And the sun refuses to dawn.
