A short poem about a good girl who was never given positive reinforcements

A good girl she was
Good grades
Good manners
Good posture

Nobody thought ill of her
She harmed not a fly
She was a good girl

No one had to tell her
No one had to praise her

And no one did tell her
And no one did praise her

She was a good girl

But how was she to know
She was a good girl
She only did as others did

No one ever told her
No one ever praised her

As she grew older
She only did as others did
And no longer did they think
She was a good girl

She only did as others did
