Random peice of writing from sometime last spring..
I'm just a girl, not a hero

Where did you get that idea?

Yes, I get to lead lanes at swim practice

Yes, my dad is now a preacher

Yes, my Mom's an assistant principle

Yes, I'm pretty good at making people laugh

Big deal right?

But It doesnt mean I can't

get my heart broken

I fall down

I make mistakes, plenty of them

Yes, I try to please everyone

sometimes I just tell people what they don't wanna hear

It's not like I've never been told the truth

cause trust me I have...

I will always make mistakes

I miss serves in volleyball

I get last place in my best events

Yes, I'm very hard on myself

Yes, I gave into this notebook,

laying on my messy floor,

with it's pages blowing in the wind from the fan

It was empty and I just had to do something about it

something for just me, myself and I

leave for while

Swimming in blue lines and those little eraser shavings

Here I an not ashamed to say:

"Sorry"

"No"

"Do it yourself"

"Not my problem"

here I am not ashamed

here I'm no hero

I'm just me.
