My life fighting Mental Illness
I look inside only to find an endless hole
Filled with all the sorrows stuck inside my soul
Taking from me the life I had planned
Begging for people to understand
I never meant for it to be this way
You have no idea the price I pay
Just to make it through one more day
Stuttering forgetting what I was going to say
How did it swoop in and take my life
Before I even noticed to make things right
How do you live life taken by the black
Happiness it will never give back
Not without the fight of your being
Fighting something you're not even seeing
An impossible feat
A fight you may never beat
That nagging feeling of empty
Giving up your entity
Walk away and give it all up
Or fight not keep it balled up
Away from family and loved ones
Trying to protect them from
The darkness that took your all
Hoping they're not watching you fall
Deeper and deeper down that rabbit hole
Where you stop who the hell knows
Hoping to God you don't land on your face
Sending your soul up into outter space
