We Are Here


Here is where we took our stand,
Here we drew the line.
Here we made all understand,
Here let courage shine.

Here with kith and kin we fought.
Here our blood was shed,
Here at last was freedom bought.
Here lie honored dead.

Here now flies our Flag so free,
Here, from shore to shore.
Here we're safe from tyranny,
Here we're slaves no more.
