dawn turns to morning- seen from an artist's eye
Painted slash of sunlight
‘Cross the shadowed waking land-
Muted autumn treetops
Sprouting colors from Your Hand.

Nighttime shadows still are here,
Like bars that lock our jail.
But darkness flames alive with light-
The Sun shall now prevail
