A little bit about my frustration with snow and a little shout out to the superbowl.
White and crisp in the late winter air,

When would this end?

A moment ago the air was clear,

Yet now is filled with snow.

Its February! I scream,

Why must it come?

A cold blanket forms;

In spite of the sun.

A foot now or more,

the storm rages on.

A whistle a cup,

And a hot drink for mom.

The kids pray for more.

For school they do pray,

Will see all this snow;

And give them the day.

The morning will tell,

If this dream will come true.

As mom sips her drink,

Curling in cocoon.

The game is still on,

Will seconds to go.

But the kids don't notice,

All they see is the snow.
