An acrostic style poem
A summer to forget. I

Suppose it's too much to ask
Until it's completely over
Medications gone crazy
Muscles try to atrophy
Everything takes my breath away
Remembering how close I came

To actually dying, It's surreal
Others trying to help, but what I want is

For this summer to be over
Only time will heal my body
Remembering my meds
Getting on with my life
Everything I'm grateful for
Trying to recall those things
