Who does not love an introvert?
Disclaimer: I am not an expert but an introvert.

Let us first define what an introvert is, according to Merriam-Webster, "introvert, a person whose personality is characterized by introversion : a typically reserved or quiet person who tends to be introspective and enjoys spending time alone. … introverts gain energy through solitude and quiet."

With that definition, an introvert person may be reserved OR quiet person. This confuses other people because when we introverts are with our friends we can become really extroverted but when we are with new people, we tend to shy away. Maybe this is because as an introvert, we are introspective. According to the same dictionary, introspective is "characterized by examination of one's own thoughts and feelings." With this definition, maybe we introverts are unconsciously examining our own thoughts and feelings when we are with new people. Maybe it is the reason why we cannot easily open and reach out to them easily.

But we introverts can also be like a fuzzy warm bear to our friends, just give us time and take the time to know us better and we will eventually open up to you our dear extrovert friends.
