My Birthday

I am two today. Its my birthday.
My mom has planned a summer theme birthday party.
I rip open my presents and want to stop to play with each one.
My mom tells me to put the toys aside and open more presents.
I just want to play with my new fancy bubble machine.
My mom puts it in the bag and hands me another gift bag to open.
I cry and scream at all this nonsense.
My mom distracts me with crinkling tissue paper.
I open another present. It is a new truck.
My mom puts the new toy truck in the bag.
I just want to get it out. This goes on the whole time I am opening presents.
My mom finally gets me to open the last present.
To my horror she takes it and puts it away because it is time for cake.
My mom cuts the spice cake and serves it with ice cream.
I play in my cake and icecream and try to get out my truck.
My mom finally lets me play with my toys.
I fly my new rocket ship into outer space.
My mom talks and laughs with my family.
