I was feelin like a schoolboy in love, so I wrote a love poem in the voice of a schoolboy.
Not ev'ry woman is as fair
         and lovely as my Bren,
and were I made once more to choose,
         I'd marry her again.

If all men had a wife as mine,
         devoted just to them,
they still would have a common stone
         compared to my bright gem!

I'm glad she chose to be my wife.
         She's still my truest friend.
With Bren I'm bound to share my life
         until its very end.
