Novel Outline.

I. Year 2050

A. Earth has died.
1. only a few million left out of eight billion.
2. Resource war had doomed the planet

B. A desperate plan.
1. A time machine was discovered.
2. A team of eight sent into the past.

C. The mission.
1. Bless eight teenagers with knowledge of the future.
2. Distribute knowledge so they would need to work together.

II. Year 1980

A. Eight shy teenagers with a small circle of friends.
1. Each feel invisible at school.
2. Each suddenly suffer mysterious ailments.

B. The children are examined by a doctor.
1. Each unofficially diagnosed with hypochondria.
2. Told they are mysteriously perfectly healthy.

C. Symptoms continue.
1. parents and teenagers insist something is wrong.
2. teenagers admitted for observation.

III. Quiet medical investigation.

A. Physically perfect.
1. No scars, birthmarks or imperfections.
2. Peak attributes for their age.

B. Brain more complex.
1. Passive genius level intelligence (ask me)
2. Perfect memory. (ask me)

C. Muscle memory more complex.
1. Lightning speed reflexes.
2. Danger perception.

IV. Pieces of the puzzle.

A. Ailments felt at the same time.
1. All in same hotel at the same time.
2. There due to car trouble.

B. Teenagers in their own single room
1. Dreams of a stranger.
2. Strange light in the night sky.

C. The workers of the hotel.
1. Recognized as substitute teachers
2. All watched them closely while at their school

V. The truth revealed.

A. The teachers appear out of nowhere.
1. Tell their story of the future.
2. Reveal their true forms (grey and sickly pale)

B. Great wealth appears.
1. Gold, diamonds, jewels, etc.
2. Documents of industries covering up Earth’s health.

C. The teachers leave.
1. A portal opens revealing an apocalyptic scene.
2. They all watch them walk through before it closes.

VI. Mystery Deepens

A. Strange thoughts
1. Past natural disasters and weather patters seen as puzzle pieces.
2. Decisions of lawmakers and corporate heads seen as a map to disaster

B. Strange visions
1. Blueprints, songs, paintings, histories, discoveries, etc.
2. People, places, events.

C. Strong Urges.
1. Must make people see the path they are on
2. Must save the Earth.
