Dear Abandoned,
Do you really miss me? It has been a very long time. You are now considered an adult. There is more time. I left you. Like you knew I would. You chose to forget. The many faces, smells, voices, and names. You’ll find that missing piece. You always do. I wasn’t that far. I’ve been gone for as long as you wanted me to. Time is not gone.
You wanted to know what it felt like to be alone. This was one way.
You'll soon warm up. You’ll soon be able to see again.
I’ll only leave if you tell me to.
