Entry for Writer's Cramp
A smartwatch in trouble


Ninth inning score
Tied at four,
Craig on the mound
Hopes abound.

Wind up ensues
It’s a ruse,
The smartwatch set
On his bet.

His bookie’s voice
With full force,
Announced the move
Make team lose.

His secret out
From that shout,
Throws a hot strike
Ball’s a kite.

Craig wins the bet
Watch regrets,
Thrown on the ground
Later is found.

Dented and dirty
Stopped at thirty,
Minutes to nine
Will be fine.
