Goals

Setting goals in years past,

Was something that did not last.

Punting was my method of choice,

Success was not my shining force.



Now advance to retirement days,

Demand work to pass each phase.

Without a purpose has been told,

What you want may stop and fold.



Projects beg to be completed,

A purpose realized not defeated.

Satisfaction brings content,

All done in the way it is meant.



The trick is in motivation,

On each and every occasion.

Have the motive to do it well,

The result will make your heart swell.
