A Limerick written for the Lucky Limerick Contest
Jim's So Fat

There once was an old man named Jim
Who wished he could once again be slim,
Try as he might
He just couldn’t become light
Then again, that thought had just been a whim.

Yet Jim wasn’t all that fat,
In his mind, he was ‘Where it’s at’
He was not the center of the Universe,
For he couldn’t write verse,
Just someone as crazy, as a Dingbat.

This is what caused Jim to eat
Candy, cakes, cookies, all treats
He finally quit the habit
When he met Jessia Rabbit
And ended up swept off his feet.
