Deep within the soul lies
A truth waiting to be set free,
For jaded thoughts invade
The mind and blinds all we see.

The passion play and torment
Of the heart that beats within,
Filled with regret and longing
For all that might have been.

Still the heart that's weeping,
Dry the tears of those who cry;
Live your life as you are meant to -
You, too, can learn to fly!
