The little pill with the smiley face that fights depression -

IT'S WEARING OFF

Once in awhile I forget to take
The little pill with the happy face
That makes me immune to the world
And the need to run the ungodly race.

It's wearing off and I am sinking;
Down to the depths I begin to drop
Knowing the difference already
Yet I can't seem to stop..

The decline of spirit showing;
With a bowed head I stand
The demise of faith I'm feeling
Life is more than I can demand.

Amazing how a little pill
Can turn your life around -
You can always pick yourself up
When depression has you down.

Not sure what it's made of,
But just in case you want to scoff -
The mood I'm in is not a good one
You see - it's wearing off....
