This just came to mind so i had to write it down let me know what you think
You told me you were going away
But couldn't tell me where.
I begged you to stay
You couldn't bear
To see tears fill my eyes
And hear my pain filled sighs.
You told me you loved me,
And gave me one more kiss goodbye.
You left that night,
Far from my sight.
Oh how I wish
You were in my arms tonight.
