A mother's love is the archtype of Love
Mother’s love
All and all
At start of life’s unfolding
Every sense inseparable from hers

Mother’s love
Safe refuge
Kisses to chase the hurt away
From the skinned knees of our soul

Mother’s love
Knows us through and through
Reads meaning in our silence
And behind our angry words

Mother’s love
Rejected
Still waiting across the distance
Always a home
