what changed?
My poems are just words put together
-A math equation
Like
Any conversation
Could be-
...Unless i'm talking,
Walking with you
its like begging the sky to turn green
And i remember
When your apathy
Crushed me
But it was never so constant
As now
If anything you were imploring me
To open up
But the tables
Have slightly turned
Some how

Things have changed
I agree
Your tied down
And i'm still fancy free
But what flip flopped our feelings
From the way it was?
Was it you that changed
Or me?

My words never seem to say what they set out for
The way your honesty works-
So maybe my guesses are way out of line
But things weren't so bad
Before you met her

So you'll say i'm just another jealous girl
Digging a deeper jealous hole-
But i wasnt smiling when i said goodbye
To hide what i used to be afraid to show
And tho, silence never hurt any one
I was dodging silent shards of dibris
And it kept getting louder and louder here
Insinuating me to leave

My words never seem to say what they set out for
The way your honesty works-
So maybe my kind regards wont
Sound so heart felt
But i'm sure glad you met her

Things have changed
I agree
Your with her
And i'm happy as can be
But what flip flopped our feelings
From the way it was?
Was it you that changed
Or me?
