Our superhero was taken away...
Our Alien Super Hero

He traveled from far off space

Riding a comet to this place.

His snowy wings were feathers;

His clothes were made of leather.

To some he was our saving knight

To others he was an angel of white,

But a superhero he came to be

And that’s the truth; none disagree.

Superbird, oh, how we miss you.

Our heroes have been far too few.

You spoke of love and peace for all

You halted evil, and stopped each brawl.

You ended wars that killed our men.

You bathed the world in calm and then,

Your mother carried you far away

Saying it was time to stop your play.

It’s bad when naps are overdue

But dear Superbird, we miss you.
