Numbness and death on the inside
Dying Again

You can stop killing me now
I'm dead you know
A thousand deaths I've died
The looks of disdain are here again
The looks of distrust are back and then
My mind echoes blank
My eyes glint bright
The tears have yet to come
My body and mind are gone from me
My heart dangles by a thread
My death creeps all too near
Yet it has already come
How can I be gone when my heart still beats?
My soul lies cold and dead
