Not typical format poetry. More like essay rather than poetry.
Tonight

The star shines brightly in the vastness of the empty bowl of heaven. The lights glow with all thgeir amber ambience. The people walk around in town with caution. The looks are looks of horror, disdaain, and shock. The feelings are another story. The emotions run high like adrenaline in players before the big game. As the night progresses, the emotions subside. And the feelings of horror turn to emotions of happiness. Thus, we begin a new day.
