Non-sensical rambling...or so I've been told
I'll Make Sense of Morning When I Wake

I do not know what led me here
to this roller coaster cloud
         in the sea
where the pink clam shells
and Christmas bells
clash
         ring
sing and are silent-

mother of pearl
around the horses throat
a pink Cadillac and
a black fur coat
         the tiny man
in the picture window
smiles, white teeth
(indent}red lips
and a purple beard-

unicycle, unicycle
I don't know how to ride
so I taste the burning leaves
and drink the rain, outside
petals crush beneath my feet
and bees carry me on wings,
the shark tooth necklace
         looks good
hanging from your rear-view mirror-

remember to tell Mickey to take
it slow around the corners-
the corpse and the uncle are
sleeping in the tree.
