1) Of all of the April prompts, which did you find to be most provocative or engaging to you? Why?

I would have to say it would be this one:

37) With summer on the horizon, what is the one activity you most look forward to? What is the one thing you most dread? (if you are in a country where winter is approaching, answer the same questions regarding winter.

Because....this prompt really got me thinking about summer and stirs up that feeling of warmth, sun, fun and kayaking!! It made me reflect on memories of the past 7 years of kayaking that I have done and how much I truly enjoy it. Letting Mother Nature take me on adventure.....enjoying the sun and the fun...the warmth and the laughter....and the most amazing memories ever are made!!

This prompt made me happy to write about and to tell about.....maybe someone reading this who has always been afraid of kayaking, can now maybe see it is NOT scary..you are NOT strapped into a kayak, you sit in a kayak that is a "Top of Water" kayak..in 7 years I have flipped 2 times.....that is pretty good if ya ask me LoL!!

As long as I can physically handle it, which my fiance helps me a lot, then it is GOOD for my mental health...to relax..not stress...lessen anxiety and in general just life my spirits. It helps in more ways then one and highly suggest it to anyone that has ever thought about it but to nervous....it is a blasty blast~~

34) If given a choice, would you rather read, write, or watch TV. Explain.

I would much rather write and have the tv on in the background to distract the chaos in my head. I like to have noise because it quiets and calms the demons and s*** in my head so that I can control and write what I want!!~ I like to clear my mind and as crazy as it sounds....the tv helps me a lot. I can write and write for hours with distraction....put me in a quiet room or worse a quiet library and tell me to write..NOTHING....lol....I NEED that noise and distraction to help the true me to come out and be able to write what I feel, want and NEED to write.

Some people think that noise like tv, talking or things can and do distract them...but not me..bring on the noise! I write better and I feel less stressed because the words just come out naturally!

Noise can be a blessing or a curse...depending on the time and situation.....when writing though, it is my helper!! It inspires me I suppose in a weird way.....lol....But hey...what works works right!! Ha Ha

I love the combo of writing and hearing the tv in the background!!! Maybe I am weird...maybe more people are like this...who knows! LOL But whatever the case may be....I enjoy multitasking lol writing and listening to the tv is a soother for me and I write better!

37) With summer on the horizon, what is the one activity you most look forward to? What is the one thing you most dread? (if you are in a country where winter is approaching, answer the same questions regarding winter.

Oh my gosh I CANNNOT wait for summer to get here so that we can hit the river and go kayaking!!!!!

Kayaking is the ONE thing that all year I look forward to doing during the summer.....even when my body hurts so bad....I can sit in the kayak...float along and let nature be my medicine.....

Even my furbaby dog Zoey goes with us and sits right in between my legs as we paddle or float along...she even jumped boat once I was close to an island as we call them, when she saw a wild chicken and she chased it all the way back up the hill and came running back...walked about 2 inches into the water and hopped back in the kayak like nothing had been done HA HA

Most times it is Steve...his nephew and my friend Jason and myself...(and Zoey) I love it when it is just Steve and I ......we will connect up kayaks (till we come to rapids) and float along together and talk and reconnect...

And OMG it is almost time!!! I can't wait!! It is beautiful and a perfect day...we make an whole day of it....sunshine....kayaking...we stop at all these little islands and find so many fossils..I love looking for them....I have a HUGE bucket of all of the ones we have found and brought home and we hope to sometime make a frame or something out of them!!

If you have never tried it...I suggest that you do...if you have a fear of flipping...don't...you get one of the sit on top of the water plastic boats...no strapped in s*** here....First time I went 7 years ago I was terrified....and after about 15 mins on the water...I fell in love!

40) If a stranger reaches out and touches you intentionally, how does that make you feel? How would you react to it?

To be honest...if someone just came up to me and touched me for no reason, someone I did not know....a total stranger....I would probably have to believe that they are touching me to give me a sign or a message from the other side..I feel that if someone has the urgency to approach me and touch me or say something...it is because of a reason and I keep my eyes open for the signs always. I believe that my spirits that are with me always have all sorts of ways of showing me signs...weather it is placing dog tags over the rear view mirror to pictures falling off the wall...to feeling them here.....and if they use someone to give me a message...either through touch or saying something when they touch me...I would listen with an open mind and heart. I am always watching for the signs....listening for the hint of my dad's laughter...the smell of my grandfathers cologne....it is amazing and powerful to be able to experience these things happening to you! If you allow any type of ability or gift then you should learn to use it correctly. I was born in 2 sacs as I have said before....that is said to be a sign of great psychic abilities and gifts....I am not saying that I can predict your future but I am and can connect to the other side....it is an amazing and wonderful gift to have. I am lucky...even though there are sooooooo many people who do not believe in it....I stand for what I believe in..even if I am standing alone!

35) Do you have any habits or behaviors that you believe others would find odd? Tell me about it / them.

Ha Ha too many to even list them all because number one, I am a goofy weird gal with a funny sense of sarcastic humor and number two because I have ocd....

So like everything I do..has to be evenly divided by the number 2....for example...if I have a cheeseburger and french fries...I will make sure at the end that I have 2 bites of the burger and 4 french fries....2 for each bite....it's weird and hard to explain lol but it is a weird quirk of mine

I also have a ocd thing of making list after list and if I mess up...I start ALL over again....

I believe in spirits and am learning more and more about the spirit world....

I have physic abilities or gifts...not major..just enough to know I have the gifts....I was even born in 2 sacs and had to be cut out of them both....that is a sign of psychic abilities.....so they say....

I have to have and do things a certain way or it causes me worry and panic....

I love eating a cheese, mayo, lettuce and pickle sandwhich.....

I totally talk to my dog and 100% believe that she understands me and talk back in her own way,....

I could go on and on but I want to still have friends here Ha Ha.....Don't need anyone deciding I am a crazy odd scary person...I mean..I am crazy...and odd probably...but scary? Nah....not me!! Bahahah *Devil*

30) When you joined WDC, were you confident about your writing skills? Do you feel they have improved since you have joined? Why or why not?

I first started writing when I was about 9 years old....I have wrote off and on over the years but have had a lot of rough things happen in life that made me push my writing aside....

Coming here was honestly a life changing thing for me....I made so many new friends...I have connected to Patrece ~ so close it is a sister (SEESTER) bond....I have been accepted...not judged...encouraged...guided...supported....All of this is new and unreal to me...but I learned really quick that this is where I belong...I have even been a part of a meet and greet with fyn JaceCar Ren the Klutz! and Patrece ~

I have grown so much as not just a writer, but as a person and I have AND am making life changes that are needed and making things so much better....I have expanded my writing...entering contest that I normally don't write for....or the fact that I have been here for only 8 months and I am already doing my very first Seasonal Construct Cup...which I was told was the most challenging thing on this site....and you know what..I am LOVING doing it and cannot wait each day for the new prompt....and I am for sure wanting to be a part of the next one whenever it may be!!

So yes I have improved in writing and life...I have become more confident in my writing because of the support and guidance on here.....and I could no be happier to be part of a better family then here!!

And a HUGE thanks to gardengirl for getting me here....I love you lady!!~

26) What was your best experience with a doctor or dentist?

I would have to say the times that they thought I wasn't going to make it were some of the most frightening times of my life...yet each time I have had to literally put my life in the hand sof someone else and honestly...there are several who have helped me like that and I cannot imagine what would or could have happened to me had they not been there. I have had good and bad experiences...but when your life is on the line..and you wake up alive..that is the best experience with a doctor you will ever have....

Or also when you have a child who has had 40 surgeries now and her life has been saved at least 3 times.....THOSE doctors...become your hero...you have faith and trust in them with your childs life...that is MAJOR...but when they come out smiling saying that all went as planned and better....it is the best experience!~

So the BEST experiences with doctors or dentist..have been the ones that stood out from the rest...that did their job because they truly wanted to help people..they have compassion and confidence....I have thanked...hugged and cried in many doctors arms thanking them for saving my childs life or my own...those experiences...are the most amazing and BEST ones....they are the ones that give you faith that miracles can and do happen~

25) What was your worst experience with a doctor or dentist?

Oh my I have had so many honestly that I cannot pick just one.....once they took my gallbladder out and forgot to clamp a duct so I had an bile leakage inside me....it was eating at my organs...I just about died by time they transported to me nearest hospital...I remember being wheeled into emergency surgery and hearing them yelling to knock me out before I threw up again...they had to stop the leakage and then clean up the bile...I was pregnant at the time so bile on my fetus was scary as hell....I was so afraid I was going to die that time....I did not think I would wake up from that surgery and that was so very scary....There was also a year or so ago that I had a blood clot in each lung and was scared beyond belief....age 37 and blood clots...OMG I was terrified...I have had so many times of being in the hospital and dealing with doctors that I could write a whole book about bad experiences....Ha Ha....I have had some serious medical issues throughout my life....the stories and experiences that I have been through have been serious...there have been a few times that they thought they had lost me....THAT is scary beyond anything I have ever felt...being told how scary of a surgery I have to have and the risk are frightening. And I know I have more things to come and I can handle it...because I have faith that I am here for a reason!

24) Favorite vacation or planning an upcoming vacation? Give the details and why you picked that spot or why your favorite spot is your favorite.

We are hoping to be able to plan a trip to Colorado this June to see Patrece ~ and her family as long as my youngest daughter is not having surgery. We are looking very much forward
to this as we have not taken a vacation in a couple of years..I have never been there so I am excited to see it all...There are lot of things that I already know a few things that we want to check out..I am looking so forward to going to the rock shop...I have a things with rocks and gems...and I am excited to go there. We are so hoping that everything falls into place so that are able to go because we are so wanting to! We normally go to Louisiana if we can but this year we are changing things up...hopefully!! It would be such fun to go somewhere I have never been and to have someone who lives there like Patrece ~ will make it even more fun because she knows exactly what and where to show us!! It will be a great time for sure! I cannot wait and I hope so badly that we get to go! We plan of driving there which is about a 18-20 hour drive so it will be a awesome roadtrip time for Steve and I to have...an awesome time on vacation and then another chance to have a awesome time road tripping it back home!! It is a chance for us to make the best memories and that is so important to me! Time spent with the ones that you love make any time a special one. I can't wait to see Colorado and all the beauty that I have heard about it!!

23) How many places have you lived? What was your favorite and least favorite? If you’ve only lived one place, what are the best and worst things about it

I was raised in apartments....we moved a lot and I had to change schools several times...I hated it...I felt like I was always having to adjust and make new friends right when I started to get comfortable...we up and moved...It sucked...I got my first house when I go married and it was amazing to me to have a WHOLE house that we owned! I kept it spotless at all times..very ocd about making sure it was always perfect!

It was not easy growing up in apartments and moving all the time...I cannot remember the first 8-10 years of my life except for vague memories and stories I have been told..but from age 10 on...I remember it all...moving...struggling...

I have just now felt at home where I am with my fiance. I feel like WE have a home and it is all OURS and that to me is major...I can paint the walls, I can make new walls....I can do what I want without a landlord telling us NO!

It may seem small but to me...it means I have come further in life....which is HUGE! To have my own space...to literally call all my own...oh wow..I love it!

I feel secure here..no fear of having to move and look for another place...it is powerful and empowering at the same time! Which is something very new to me...but I am starting to accept and like it!! It is time to feel good...life is short...make it the best ever!
