Am I more like Samantha who is getting older and decided to buy a dog that likes to hump? I did just get into the dog rescue business…..  Am I more like Carrie? Will I carry this love in my heart forever? Sex and relationships are 100% in the mind. If you engage your mind and your spirit, your body will follow. Yes, the heart has a part in all of that. Really, you say? How do you explain the newness and sexiness of a relationship just starting? The love isn’t there, the heart hasn’t connected, the brain and mind are somewhat engaged. When do you pass that point where all things are in sync? Life is short and people are just who they are. Go hug your spouse, your friend, your lover…. Right now!!! Sometimes in our lives we do things that haunt us for the rest of our lives. We then spend time punishing ourselves by making bad decisions. We feel we don't deserve the better things in life, so we trade down. I AM a good woman and very lucky to have the people I have in my life. I have morals and friendships that I cherish and I don't do things that will come back to haunt me in the future and when I do, I don't rub people's noses in it. My friendships mean more to me than anything in the world and nothing or no one can damage that.  Is it self esteem that makes us do the things we do? Are we so unsure of ourselves that we have to portray an image of power or charisma? Is it the guilt for the many many many bad judgment calls and choices we've made? Is our self esteem so low that we have to go overboard to prove how manly or womanly we are? What makes us do the things we do? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer as they always make sure to leave a trail just so you'll find it. Guess it's just human nature. But this time, it doesn't matter. It's just dishonesty between friends and people who aren't happy unless they can hurt others. I really didn't NEED to know......... But thanks for the trail.......Ok, enough philosophy for the day. | I had to share this picture of my little Angel and the Baby Doesn't she look impressed? ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** In other news, I went to a comedy show on Saturday night. It wasn't all that but the DJ was good later in the evening. Doug, the guy whose daughter was in the bad wreck, took us. Oh, his daughter has just gotten her own apartment and DSS has given her children back to her after a clean bill of health. Her mother is living with her, as she still has some memory issues and some security issues but she is certainly another of God's miracles! Sunday, I spent on the beach. It was glorious. Last night, I went to see "Iron Man". I didn't think I was going to like it but it turned into a great movie. Now, Doug has decided that Cathy and I should buy him an Iron Man suit. I put up a 7 X 10 kennel for the babies and the little one has figured out how to escape. He is so tiny that he fits through the circles in the chain link. I'm open for suggestions on this one....... | Gearing up for a three day weekend.... wooooo hoooooo I promise to catchup with you guys very soon. I am planning to do some reviewing and some writing and some judging for a contest this weekend. I gave baths to three little dudes last night and it just about wore me out. I put a 7 X 13 foot fence right outside my back door and it has made life grand. I open the back door, they go out and I shut the door. I can see them from my kitchen window. The only drawback is that 'puppies like to play in the dirt'. | Hi peeps! I know, I know....... Could someone please tell me how to shoot that dang blog reminder........ The babies are wonderful and Mother's Day is over and I survived. Mother didn't want the dog I got for her but a lady I work with was hoping that she wouldn't. Marley has gone to live with Nancy and I get to see him almost every day. The "boys" have play dates and we take turns keeping them when the need arises. It's a perfect world. I still have the two babies. I did name the little black one, Buckwheat. I couldn't help it; he looks just like the little cutie on the Little Rascals.Work is a zoo and we are preparing to move out of the mold infested building into a new office in cubicles. They will then tear down the old building and we'll get a new two story building and I get that corner office I've been holding out for. I'm including a few pictures in my album of a guy who got mad at me and sent his tax money in, via FedEx. I'm sure it cost him about $50 to send in his $344.56 in change. I got in my car, went to the bank, dumped it in the counting machine and came back. I'm sure he had to get the box, count the money, pay to ship it. The pictures also made the website and the budget cover.....      This falls under one of those "priceless" commercials...... I'm bartending tomorrow night for the Leukemia foundation at the Yacht Club to raise money. It's the first time I've bartended in many many years but I'm hoping it's like sex; it will come back to me.  I hope so, anyway. Speaking of sex, could somebody write that book. The one that tells the secrets of how to talk to women. No, honey, I don't want you to grab me by the back of the head and play mattress polo for several hours. No, I don't want you to slap my ass and I certainly don't want you to slobber all over my body Some days, these would sound good but for now, if you ask me if I want some slow easy loving while you whisper sweet nothings in my ear, I might be willing to listen. Ok, y'all have a great day and remember who loves ya......... That'd be me!!!!! **UPDATE** Never mind about the book; I'm not gonna have time for all that!!!!! | If I quit my real job and do nothing but WDC, I can keep up...... I've joined "Follow the Leader" for the month of May. I'm new and not sure how or what to do but I think it means I blog more. I'm still working on "BLOG RING" and hope to have it open in the next few weeks.....New prompts are up for "Paradise Cove Writing Challenge-On Hold" by Jaeff | KBtW of the Free Folk  I bought a GPS this week and will be rescuing the new puppy, if I can find my way. Five hours there and five back is a long long day but a momma has to do what a momma has to do....... I've had several people say the 'scrolling' in my blog is a pain. | First of all, I promised a new picture of the puppy. The one on the left, of course, is Mr. Wonderful, Charley who is always posing..... The one on the right is the one I rescued from Charlotte last weekend and my mother is coming after on Mother's Day. His name is yet undecided but she wants him and calls and talks to him on the phone almost every day. He is the sweetest boy you've ever seen. Charley was neutered yesterday and Milan has been the caretaker for the last 24 hours. He crawls up on the bed to check on him about every 30 minutes. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Now, all that being said....... Charley has gotten used to having a playmate. I received an email yesterday with this picture. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** He needs a new mommy; Charley needs a new playmate when Milan goes home with my mother and I need my head examined...... Uh, yes, I'll be traveling to pick him up on Saturday and Sunday. I'm going to let my mother rename Milan but this cute new puppy baby will need a name, also..... He is very tiny, only 6 weeks old. Everyone who has shown an interest in him wanted him shipped. His foster mom will NOT let him fly because of his size. This will let Charley be the alpha big brother and I'll be in the looney bin...... I've never been happier and think I would be best suited living on the farm with Mel and Tor. Do you think they would take me and two more...... Oh and the cat..... Yea, the one rolling her eyes at me every single day!!!! Luv ya guys to pieces...... Oh, Eric.......
