wonderful entry! I don't know how to comment because you were right on point. It is so sad the number of kids that start school and dont' know anything! Parents just think it's up to the school to teach their kids everything when really the teacher is supposed to be a supplement to what you are teaching them at home. Grr... dont' get me started.

Oh man...I'm going to have a mini-reunion with some girls I was in Jr. High with and last saw 44 years ago....this should be rich!

The kicker is they have seen my pic on my blog...but I have no idea how they look.

Great lessons you taught your daughter. I'm of the old school where I have a couple of basic, well made pieces to build on, then can go crazy with trendy stuff, and stay in a reasonable zone of consumerism. Bravo!

Call G from work and rant about how stupid this dorkfish in the next stall sounds when he talks to his wife.

That should at least pipe him down some.

Work sounds like hell...hate dealing with that kind of stuff. How hard is it for people to just do the work? I've watched people actually do more work trying to get out of work than they'd have done just to get it over with.

Ouch on the AC! And no, you're not crazy, but don't count on her to hold onto that opinion for about five or six more years. lol Good to see you, even if it's just a flash!

I know what you mean. I was just saying to G yesterday that I thought I'd have so much more done by this time of my life. I do a lot of shifting gears and squealing tires, but I don't cover much ground. lol

It worked with Savannah for a little while....now, she could care less.

Enjoy it while it's important enough to do dishes for! lol

Now it's a new cell phone. She'll work and save up and get a job and give me every dime, realllllly, she promises, if I'll just get her a new cell phone and pay for a plan. Anytime I need anything, it's done! No questions asked or griping or any such thing.

I'll hold out as long as I dare! lol
