I've a wagon load of opinions on nearly every subject and I seem to gather enough steam occasionally to instigate a debate if the subject stirs me.

I have super-low tolerance for stupidity, child, senior and animal abusers, smelly old men who come on to any female and last but certainly not least, Criminal Politicians.

I am a Christian, NOT perfected by any stretch.

I understand how you feel, Patricia. I quit writing on my blog for somewhat the same reason, although I never did have much of a following to start with. I have several blogs elsewhere and they don't get much activity yet either, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel for those. I probably need to do more work on them and get the word out better.

Eventually, I'll get there I hope.

Once you figure out what you will be doing with a different blog, drop us a line in our notebooks on our port page. They work like virtual guestbooks.

Hmmm. Are your views from people at WDC or from outside WDC? I ask because that does make a difference. Only members can comment, but anyone can look.

Last week, I posted something at Gather.com at about 5 p.m. Then I cooked dinner, watched TV with hubby, and worked on getting some pictures from my camera/phone onto my computer. The next morning at about 8 a.m., I logged into my account there and noticed that my points had gone up quite a bit. Curious, I thought. Then I looked at the post I had made the evening before and noticed that it had over 4,000 views in 18 hours. Wow. It also only had 2 comments. I knew right away that most of the views were from outside Gather.

Same thing happens here. I think I have only had one person actually sign up for an account here and about three at Gather - just to be able to comment on something I posted.

He's being polite and not arrogant! Hopefully it adds to diplomacy, one of his strong points.

I realize many Americans would agree with you. My aunt would love your comments!

But... as for me... I prefer diplomacy over bluster.
