The Bulk: Psst... Tomorrow's my birthday! Unfortuantely, I'll be on my way to MN (nothing against MN) to see my cousin become a consecrated virgin. No, not a cremated and concentrated virgin (just add water and watch it grow! It's like marrying God... and not being able to cheat on him, raise kids with him, or divorce him... with the consequence being ex-communication from the Church! Talk about seriuos devotion! So, that trip to NY to see Ani again, well... that's not happening! Oh well, I guess... *sigh* There's always next year... So, wish me luck that I make it through Nah... it should be "interesting"... "unique"... Oh, and I do get to spend birthday morning with Pen Name , so that's cool! Many of you have probably seen this already, but regardless of that, I'm plugging!!
Basically, post your wishes (via ths sign up survey) and fill whatever wishes you can! All links can be found on the forum I just posted. Enjoy!! Oh, and in the process of creating this activity, I've created my first Web Page item! It is so much fun. I may do more to it, as the activity will be up until Jan 15 and I get bored easily One of my wishes is for people to use http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=859180 and/or http://www.igive.com for Questioning Youth Center (QYC.) GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo. Every search you do gives about 1 cent to the charity chosen. You can even download the toolbar or add it to your Search Engine box on Firefox to make it easy to use with no excuese There is also a shopping tab. If you utilize that, to go to the stores you want to shop at (eBay, BestBuy, and many more), a portion of the sale going to the charity. iGive is a shopping site, like the Shopping part of GoodSearch. However, there are many many more shops to it. AND, you can download the "Shopping Window" which will popup to let you know that the particular store gives a donation. You can look at iGive to search for a particular brand or item or look at the extenvise list of stores. ( LUSH is even on the list!) However, it seems that for sites that are listed on BOTH GoodSearch and iGive, the donatoin through GoodSearch is higher. So, if you're going to shop anyway... For those of you who don't remember from my previous mentions, Questioning Youth Center (QYC) is a local suburban youth group (in a very conservative area!) for GLBT teens! I started off as a youth there and then became a youth leader and am now a volunteer. I just started a group for adults with Asperger's Syndrom. (It is on the Autism spectrum.) The first group was Tuesday. It went very well! I also started up a CafePress shop to benefit the group (the meeting space isn't free and I bring snacks.) http://www.cafepress.com/AspergrsArt There is the one with the people on it and there is another design on some items that says "If I Close My Eyes, You Disappear." So, if (you or) anyone you know may be interested in purchasing something, that would be !! Speaking of Asperger's, I just got approved for disability! My SSI payments have started to come and my disability checks should start soon. I'm quite confused by the whole process, to tell the truth... and it doesn't seem as if I'm alone in that...... And, on that note as well, I'm reading this book "Too Loud, Too Bright, Too Fast, Too Tight" on sensory defensiveness. If you or someone you know or may know in the future may perhaps deal with this (or if you are just interested), it is amaing! And also on the ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) note, I did get the job at Trinity! However, it didn't work out as planned, as the child I was going to work with... that family is well, growing and decided to stick with respite now instead of ABA work. And then, they put me with a child that was 45 minutes away! So, now I've done a few respite days, which is fine. Hopefully I'll get to work with a kiddo on a regular basis soon. I miss this job! Site Of The Day: My CafePress Shop http://www.cafepress.com/AspergersArt What can I say? I'm excited about it! Item Of The Day:

The Bulk: I have to share a bit of insanity. That is what's brought me here today. My brother had a band contest. They lost. Or at least, they didn't win. Him and his buddies decided they needed some cheering up, so they called some radio stations (including RadioDisney) and asked for them to play FreeBird. They wouldn't. So, they figured it would be a good idea to call Nancy's Pizza and ask the pizza guy to sing to them. He did. So, now they're gonna stop by and give him a big ole tip. Wow -- talk about customer service! (I guess they even called back later and asked him to sing something else and he complied...) Next topic: Ani! She was equally amazing in Chicago (as she was in Indy) I was in the pit. Oh my fucking God was it amazing! And I met some really cool people. I had TWO separate people offer me tickets to the show in New York. Wooh! Next topic: pissed off... *grrrrrrrrrrrrrr* So, I was supposed to start babysitting last week (Monday.) I got a call an hour and 15 minutes before I was supposed to start telling me that the person who was supposed to train the mom called in so she wasn't able to go into work, so she didn't need me. She (the mom, Kim) told me she'd call me that night and let me know what was going to happen the next day. I didn't get a call until the next day at 1:30... after I called 2x!! (I'm supposed to start at 2:15) Unfortunately, I didn't answer it, as I was going in and out of the house, cleaning my car (go me!) so she left a message telling me not to come in and that it doesn't look like she'll need me until next week. She said they changed her work schedule and she'd call me with details after 3pm. Alright, whatever. Didn't get a call back, so I called her on Thursday. Now, it's 1030pm on Sunday... and I haven't gotten a call back. I'm SOOO pissed! She gave me all this stuff about how she respected me and everything else... and now to pull this?! If she needs me this week, I can come 2 days (instead of the 4 I was going to... - 1 day I have a dr. appt, 1 day a concert) but I'll tell her I'm not comfortable with the position with the lack of communication that is going on. *sigh* I don't know why this shit keeps happening. Next topic: WDC My entry in "The Writer's Cramp" [13+] won yesterday... but I returned the prize because I didn't include word count. *stupid stupid...*
Halloween fun starts in like a half-hour (or whenever I get all the clues up....) And yes, you can still sign up to get little goblins knocking around your port...

That means that I get the job of telling people about it (if I like it, that is... *laugh* - which I do!) Anyway... you get to see where your money goes and maybe even where it has been. Pretty cool. The Bulk: Damn - the show was fuckin amazing! The tickets were 2nd row (well, not counting the pit, that is ) There were 2 seats available in the front row, right in front of where we were sitting, so we moved up there! Damn -- talk about being close enough to fuckin be SPIT on!! I'm shaking with excitement thinking about it. She has a band now (including a hypnotically hot drummer! , a percussionist that rocks the world, and an upright bassist) and has redone her songs to include them and give the songs a different feel. It was great. She even pulled out a song that she hasn't played in YEAAAAAAAARS.... even people at this big old Ani fanstie were shocked when they heard she played it. Oh... good thing I didn't get laid by some random hot chick after the show or anything (not like I was trying to ... lol - or even had time to) because when I tried to take off my belt this morning, it took like 10 minutes to untie it. It's a really cool belt, but either it needs to be tied tight and then is difficult to remove half the time... or it falls off. So -- hell yeah! And I'm working on getting a recording of the show. Hopefully someone comes through with it! What I Did Right Yesterday: I moved to the front row of the Ani concert... and had a fuckin blast! The Bulk: I just learned something new from my Intro To Deafness Class. We're learning about some of the etiologies of deafness. Each of us were assigned one to research and post information about. I just read about ototoxicity (hearing loss from chemicals.) So, here's the interesting fact: eggplant and potatoes have lower dosages of nicotine [than cigarettes] What the fuck!? Anyway, what's your choice way of receiving nicotine? Well, I might as well tie that subject into my next with this: Nicotine ~Ani DiFranco i hate you sometimes but i love to be your queen you are my muse got me smokin nicotine i watch you sometimes from oh so far away but i can't forget you or anything you say you sang that song in my ear and it tickled those tiny hairs love is a puzzle some pieces they adjoin it's not like that with us but i keep flipping that coin i watch you sometimes from oh so far away but i can't forget you or anything you say you sang that song in my ear and it tickled those tiny hairs So... I got those tickets I was bidding on in ebay. I put my bid originally at $5.05 and in the last minute, upped it to $26-something. I got them for $.99!! Nobody else bid. Now, the listing was 24 hours, so I know that contributes... but damn! I am fuckin excited. Oh... and then I went to pay but the seller had it set up to require a confirmed address. I couldn't get that to work so emailed him and was told that if I'm having problems, it isn't worth the 99c. So, he sent them to me for free!! I am fuckin stoked!!! The only problem: who am I going with? I've emailed a bunch of people who I figured might be interested (offering 2 tickets just requiring some gas $$). So far, I've gotten 2 nos in response. My parents really don't want me to go alone, but I will if I have to So hell yeah -- if you want to see a scary sight, ask me to videotape myself today. Oh - the concert is at 7:30 today. WDC time. (for other time zones, scroll down.) I guess I'll wake up for it I got my prizes from Righteous Babe Records today (aka Ani's trivia contest). I was shocked to see how quickly they arrived! Unfortunately, they packed the "placard" with the shirts and CDs... so it is bent... but that's okay. Also, they sent me the wrong sized shirts. They asked me what sizes I would want for unisex (S) and for women's (L - they said to get 2 sizes bigger cuz they ran so small). They sent me 2 unisex shirts in M. Should I let them know? Or just be quiet about it? I mean they're not unwearable. The tshirt will probably look completely fine, the other a bit baggy. The tshirt is fine - a little larger than I usually get, but very comfortable. The worker shirt is way too large. The sleeves start 1 1/2 - 2 inches past my shoulders and continue longer than they're supposed to. I'm sorta torn here... Like I said, I'm super-excited and grateful... just not sure what to do (or not ) Thanks guys! What I Did Right (Yesterday): I started to clean my room (and car.) You listen to/watch both for at least 15 seconds and then choose your favorite. If you judge enough, you get a prize. The highest-ranked artists is each genre get record deals or something... tons of different prizes for musicians/video guys to earn. The Bulk: "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" -- right? So, I guess this is going to be a short entry. (I will say a little bit, though.) This are swarming right now and I feel like I'm drowning. Feel very Wrong. And, I've been blacking out a lot lately. (I think that is the right word. When I stand up - usually and walk - my vision all goes black or at least mostly black and sometimes my legs also feel like they're going to collapse.) I'm not really sure why. But, hey - I did pretty good cleaning my room today. Got rid of tons of clothes that don't fit right and CDs that I never listened to . Got my sister's stuff out of the closet and put my CD rack and hamper in there. Still have quite a ways to go, but at least I started (and such, I've gotten quite a bit out of my car, too. ) Item Of The Day: My favorite reviewed item from the 24th-25th: Well, I am picking two as one is an activity.
It's free to join in!
A touching dialogue showing the progression of a relationship through time. What I Did Right: (I almost didn't do this section because I didn't write it down yesterday and thus it is hard to come up with what I did right. Let's see....) I had my full breakfast. Emotometer: | | | (On a scale of 0 to 10) -happy -sad -silly -mad -overwhelmed -physically sick/in pain -anxious/scared/worried -tired -hungry 6846 |
The Bulk: Good news, a request, then struggles... in that order. Good news - I WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to all of you who sent "pick Jamie" vibes to RBR - it worked! I won! See?: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=85635629&blogID=... Not my favorite shirts, but I'm damn thrilled!! Happy, happy, joy joy! More good news - The day after I bought the two text books for one of my classes, I found them in a used book store for $5 each. Sure as hell beats $50! (One of the books is an older edition, but its all good.... I can get the missing chapters from a classmate) A Request - Anyone care to enter a contest for me (or for you, if you're interested)? Here's the info: Windy City Media Group is giving away a pair of tickets to see the one and only ANI DIFRANCO in concert with the amazing MELISSA FERRICK LIVE at the Auditorium Theatre (in Chicago) on Sept. 22. To enter to win do this: Email WCMGPromo@aol.com. In the subject put ANI TIX. In the body of the email put your full name and mailing address. Winners will be drawn in two weeks. Enter only once BUT increase your chances by telling your friends to enter too. Good luck. The struggles - Still can't shake that comment from the dietitian. I've been so obsessive about things. Found the scale the other day and weighed myself (and was relieved by the number -- that I don't want to care about!) Blah blah blah... but still just can't bring myself to eat what I need to. *sigh* Saw the new dietitian today and that went well.... but I mean, she can't "make" me do it, either, y'know? Just ate dinner and can't quiet the inner turmoil. I'm fuckin sick of this shit. I don't know why I'm so desperately clinging to it right now.... What I Did Right: I bought my school books from a used bookstore. And I made it to the animal shelter on time for the volunteer orientation. Site Of The Day: Tunes For Trees - http://www.tunesfortrees.com/ For those of you who use iTunes, this free service plants a tree for every 10 songs you buy there. Cool, isn't it? Words Of The Day: More vocab from Cat's Eye: ersatz (adj or noun): (serving as) a substitute; synthetic; artificial manqué (adj - seemingly used after noun) having failed, missed, or fallen short, esp. because of circumstances or a defect of character; unsuccessful; unfulfilled or frustrated (usually used postpositively) Item Of The Day:

The Bulk: Starting with the good news: *Through the week, I've gotten a bunch of boxes of books from BookCrossing members to release at Panera Bread locations. (Panera Breads in Illinois, Indiana, Florida, and another state or two have officially teamed with BookCrossing and are putting a shelf or basket for books. Going to a few, I saw they were empty so I am on a mission to keep the ones I travel near the most stocked.) *On Monday, I got a Writing.Com tshirt from terryjroo. It arrived the other day (with candy and pens ) *Last weekend, I went to the Art Institute of Chicago (and then to Lake Michigan and Navy Pier) with one of the other members of the Adults with Aspergers Group. (And then I even told my mom where I met him -- I had a hard time with that, for some reason. I guess I like to be 'okay' at home.) *I finished Cat's Eye at like 3 in the morning. The ending lacked a bit, but the rest of the book more than made up for that! (If anyone is interesting in reading it and then passing it on to others, I am starting up a book ring for it.) *On Monday, I won Ani DiFranco's trivia contest! I haven't necessarily won a prize, though. Of each winner from this week (5 of them), one of us will win a prize (2 CDs and ??? - it hasn't been posted yet...) So -- send out vibes to the RBR people to pick me! On a little crappier notes: *I've had a couple people mad at me on the site lately for rating changes, post removals, and the like. *sigh* *I've been 'called out' on the forums at BookCrossing for posting a link to a site via BzzAgent. She said I was being deceptive for doing so. I didn't think I was, as I mentioned what it was about. And then to condescend further, she 'complimented' me when I posted something else and overly spelled out exactly what BzzAgent is and yadda yadda... None of this really needed to have been done in the fourms - they could have been messaged directly to me. Just kinda sucks - you guys know I'm not the deceptive type......... *I was supposed to go to the dietitian yesterday. Ended up being late due to a bad accident... and she left (if I got there on time, I would have had to re-schedule anyway.) So, now I am anxious as I wait for my next appointment.... and I'm not really sure why I'm even going because I am so off track that I don't see the point right now. And speaking of dietitians, I called that other one back as she requested. She was checking to make sure I was okay. I was honest and also let her know what bothered me about my visit. She tried to explain herself, but her explanation still doesn't read any better than her original comment *School starts this week! It's been a while since I've taken classes... and I'm anxious! The bookstore is out of my books for my one class, too.. *sigh* My on-campus class is tonight. Hopefully it goes well. What I Did Right: I told that dietitian why I wasn't going back to her. Site Of The Day: Unusual Hotels of the World: http://www.bzzagent.com//p/1795727748/flywithme Here's another site from BzzAgent. The name almost says what it is about... but you have to see these hotels to really believe how unusual they are! There's a library hotel (each floor is dedicated to a different category of the dewey decimal system) -- which is on the 'mild' end of things. There is a hotel where the rooms are sewage drain pipes. (You can stay for less than $150/night! ) There are ice hotels... underwater hotels... If you can think it, it is probably there! Fun to browse and prepare for the future. Hey, maybe some of these would make good locations for stories. hehe Item Of The Day:
I didn't review yesterday, but here is my favorite item from the day before. I read it to vote in "Invalid Item" . It is a touching story of a changed lives and friendship. Word Of The Day: (More Cat's Eye vocabulary) besot(ted) - 1. to intoxicate or stupefy with drink 2. to make stupid or foolish 3. to infatuate; obsess ingratiate (-ing) - to establish (oneself) in the favor or good graces of others, esp. by deliberate effort (followed by with) Emotometer: 1/2 1/2 (throat, hunger pains) | 1/2 (On a scale of 0 to 10) -happy -sad -silly -mad -overwhelmed -physically sick/in pain -anxious/scared/worried -tired -hungry 6809 |
The Bulk: Things I Love To Do, But Hate Starting: cooking exercising reading writing showering doing the dishes (by hand) (If I think of more, I may add on) Do you have anything like that? Word Of The Day: Another unknown word from "Cat's Eye" (I'm almost done and don't want it to end, though!) abject: utterly hopeless, miserable, humiliating, or wretched; shamelessly servile; slavish Site Of The Day: Urbis: http://www.urbis.org.uk/ While the site isn't extremely fascinating, the place it shows is. I *need* to go there one day! Kitti? Item Of The Day:

The Bulk: *tap tap tap* (on her locked bedroom door) "Uhhh... mom? Mom... the dog is making some funny noises." "I'll be there in a minute." *Dad walks out* "He sounds kind of like an off-balance fan" *We listen to the dog* *Dad bends over and wiggles a slat in the table that the dog was lying next to, making the same sound* 2nd Word Of The Day: Again, from "Cat's Eye": bier - A stand on which a corpse or a coffin containing a corpse is placed before burial. How.. uh... colorful. 2nd Item Of The Day: This one is from the 12th and 13th:
Entered in my party last weekend, the "Music" portion. I truly appreciated it. 2nd Site Of The Day: StumbleUpon - http://www.stumbleupon.com Set your favorite categories and the site will randomly take you to websites. The Bulk: I feel like I'm bucking my head up against the friggin wall. After weeks of trying to get ahold of this particular school to begin the Sign Language Interpretation program, I finally did... just to find out that classes start next week. Fine. doable, I guess. My English I class from my expensive private school isn't going to count. Instead, they would could English 2 as the English 1 class at this community college. Hell! That course is NOT your basic class... (Turns out, my LOCAL CC already waived me from needing to take English 1, placed me in English 2... and the credits from there are transferable to said CC with sign language program. How fuckin bass-ackwards!) I met with the counselor and had a placement interview sort of thing to see which level to begin in. Felt quite dumb during it because there were concepts I really didn't know... but she said my vocab was good enough to get into Sign 2 to start with. Went to disability services and got the forms. The lady there said she'd meet with me after I get them in and register. Turns out, she doesn't even work with accommodations. She transferred me to someone else, who basically said that nothing I asked for could be done and to reconsider the program. A few minutes later (in the middle of typing this), I got a call from the 1st lady I talked to (the one who doesn't do the accommodations.) I feel so stupid, cuz I was bawling the whole time. She had me make an in-person appointment with her and said we'd discuss things... I haven't been eating very well. It just doesn't feel worth it. I met with a dietitian the other day and one of her comments was that looking at me, I don't LOOK like I need to worry about my weight (from a medical standpoint.) So, basically, I'm not fuckin obese, but I look huge?! I got to my car and absolutely broke down. And, since I really can't shake that. I hate that weight means anything to me. When "ed" isn't here, it doesn't. Anyway, I'm not going back to her. I'll be seeing a different dietitian next week. Looks good! I've been BookCrossing a lot. Very freeing! And, its getting me to read more. Oh... and yesterday: I finished what I was doing at the school (mind you, its about an hour from my house, 30 minutes from the hospital.) I was about the leave, but instead pulled to a different parking spot to Mapquest how to get to my next appointment the quickest. As I'm sitting there and about to leave, a girl from the EDP walked by! So, we started to talk, probably for like 20 minutes. I took that as a sign to focus on my health a little closer. And planned to... decided to go eat at Panera, but got there and didn't order anything. Then was my psychiatrist appt... and in the waiting room was ANOTHER girl from the EDP! 2 minutes later and she would have already been in her appointment! Talk about being smacked over the head with a message!!!!! (I think I ended up going home and having dinner ) What I Did Right: I started the process of registering for classes. Site Of The Day: Pinger: http://www.bzzagent.com/p/1863774754/flywithme Only for US - sorry. Here's the scoop: You register. You add contacts online (I think you can skip this) You call a local number. You say the name (or number) of who (1 or more, can even be placed in a group to make it easier!!) you want to send Pinger message. You record your message. The recipient(s) receive it as a text message alerting them to call a certain number. It's sorta like text messaging via voice. The service is free other than the minutes you use to call and the cost of receiving text messages for the recipients. I used it yesterday to alert everyone of my new cell number. Super easy! Anyway, its another site I found on BzzAgent and get to tell all you people about. Word Of The Day: avuncular - adj: of, pertaining to, or characteristic of an uncle Is this an old-fashioned sort of word? Either way, it was in "Cat's Eye" Item Of The Day: Since I only reviewed 2 items yesterday, my favorite will be of the last two days.
Doesn't matter how much you review, it is how well you review. Emotometer: | | | (On a scale of 0 to 10) -happy -sad -silly -mad -overwhelmed -physically sick/in pain -anxious/scared/worried -tired -hungry 6725 |
The Bulk First - I want to publicly thank everybody who has been so kind and generous to me lately, in so many different ways. You know who you are. So the party was a blast (even though I never got in here to blog about the reasons for party: day 1 yet) And, for anyone who didn't join in but still wants to, there are a few hours (8?) left until the two writing parts conclude. So, the Sunday portion of the party was in honor of Saturday. I woke up hating myself, disturbed by my looks, seeing every ounce of fat (and probably muscle) on my body in disgust, and finding nothing right about anything I could possibly do. (I think this was in part due to "Aunt Flo" ...) Anyway, despite that, I had breakfast. No problem (as its the same thing every day: cereal with 2 tbsp of peanut butter and soy milk in the cereal and in a glass). I even had my morning Gatorade (10oz)... but lunch time came around, and I would have nothing to do with it. Didn't see the point in preparing anything. Didn't want to think about what "ed" was telling me it would do. But instead of caving in, listing to "ed"... I went to the grocery store to buy something that was quick to prepare. That, at least, took out one step. (Oh; I got a Link card - food stamps. Very helpful!) So, I went through the store... la ti da... all's good for about 10 minutes. And then it all became too much. Vision started to blur... I couldn't think of anything but hiding... all that fun stuff. By the time I was out of the grocery store, I needed some time to just breathe and let my pulse get back to a semi-normal range. So, I cooked my lunch and finished it (even though I was full half-way though.) I didn't even feed a single bite to the dog (I've gotten into the habit of that since I've been home... giving the last bite or two to Prancer) Anyway... by the end of the day, I had finished the rest of my meal plan: snacks, Gatorade, and all... and noticed that through all that, I had 6 cups of fluid in... so I decided that I came that far... might as well force a couple glasses of water. And thus, it became the only day I have ever followed my meal plan AND drank 8 cups of fluid (if you look back at my goals for this year, I was working on fluids... starting with 1 cup a day, I believe...) So, yes... that was cause for celebration (not to mention the 6 years here!!!) Like I said, the party was great. The whole weekend I was giddy and bouncing. It's been so long since I had been like that. It was nice to be Tigger again. And, hell... I didn't even let an icky email from my ex-roommate bother me all too much. (Moving on. Topic 2:) In scroll, kittiara leaves with a message stating: *scoots offline again to watch a telly proggie* I was just glancing at it, but swore she wrote something about being "preggie" When I realized she didn't, I joked around with someone " I just made Kitti preggie. Damn -- that's a huge step for lesbians!" What I Did Right I kept a good mood even after reading an email that bothered me. Site Of The Day: Library Thing -- http://www.librarything.com Show what books you have, what books you've read, and what you thought of them. Also has links to many resources for trading books, etc. Thanks, Jedi Moose , for showing me this! (They also have a program where you can receive advance copies of books and review them: http://www.librarything.com/er/list ) Item Of The Day: Being party day, I didn't review any... so here are my two favorite items from the day before... both of which were reviewed as entries to a contest:
The title and brief description speak for themselves.
Erotic, yet not harsh. I enjoyed this... even though it wasn't about lesbians. Emotometer: | |1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2 ?? Ooops... didn't get around to the whole 'blogging' thing today, as I meant to. i will get to writing an entry regarding the party I'm hosting at "Invalid Item" and the reasons behind the first half of it - tomorrow (I think) Cya! |
The Bulk So, after skimping on all of my meals yesterday, having 1 snack when I was supposed to have 2, and having Gatorade twice when it was supposed to be 3 times (ie not following a single part of my meal plan), today I've been right on. This morning I had my full breakfast and then even had my first Gatorade early (due to seeing stars, but still...). After breakfast, I decided that I was going to really make it a big priority to do things as I'm supposed to today. So, my question is: what have you done for yourself today? (And if you haven't done anything yet, there's still time... or plan something for tomorrow.) My dad didn't have work today, so we went to the Museum Of Science And Industry. It sure was disappointing. There were some new exhibits, but mostly it was out of date... things that I've seen when I was there as a kid. So, anyone looking to visit Chicago -- pass on that museum! Art Institute rocks, I can say that for sure (yes, I've been there recently...) What I Did Right: I ordered new copies of my 2006 W-2s from the 2 places I was missing them from. Site Of The Day: PaperBackSwap: http://www.bzzagent.com/p/7336513371/flywithme I was planning on sharing this site with you today... and now BzzAgent added it to the FrogPond... so I figure you may find the introductory information there useful. The site is basically a book-trading website. To start, register at least 9 books. You'll get three credits right away. Each credit is used to receive a book of your choice from those posted on the site. (If there is something you want that nobody has posted yet, go ahead and add it to a wish list and you'll be in line for in when it gets posted.) Every time you send one of your books to someone, you get another credit. So, enjoy the site. I've been. If you do sign up, I'm "flywithme" over there. Item Of The Day:
A story of a boy who lost his magic stone. The emotions just creep up on you through this!
