My blog with multiple titles of a dubious nature. |
Questionable Practices of the Spare Chicken ... or ... Private Bits The Unnamed Blog My Own Private Island Drawbridge to My Mind Give Me an Eraser for This Thing Blog Which is so Confusing That a Name Really Could Not Fit, and If It Did, This Wouldn't Be It, So Just Scroll Down and Have a Read Anyway ... or, on the naughtier side ... Questionable Practices of My Private Bits ~~~~~~~~~~ I decided to use multiple titles, but if you would still like to vote on my blog title you still can. Here is the link.
~~~~~~~~~~ Now, down to the focus of my blog. *ponders and wrinkles brow* There is none. I plan on talking about anything and everything that is wierd and happens to cross my mind at the time. Some moments may seem pretty sane, but they will quickly be interrupted by things much less normal, things that may make you cringe, clamp your jaw tight and make sure your belt buckle is still cinched. Anyway, on with the ... ramblings. |
Two posts, that is. I am sooooo addicted to Megatokyo! Check it out. http://www.megatokyo.com/ *thinks I have plugged it in here before but am too lazy to go check* |
I began to post this as a comment to one of Problematic Content 's blog posts but thought I would make my own post on the topic. Many people claim that out veterans gave thier lives for the ideals of this nation but I got to thinking about that a bit and this is what came to mind. The veterans gave their strength, courage and skill for the ideals of this nation. They did not give thier lives. Their lives were taken because of their duty to those ideals. Because of that, even if we don't always agree on why battles are fought, we do owe veterans the respect for their choice to give thier strength, courage and skill. ... and that includes all veterans. |
Well, maybe it's not that exciting but I am working on a story again and actually getting it written. I'm not too sure where it is going and I feel like it is horribly sloppy for that fact but I have an opening down and some ideas on things that could happen during. I may need to make an outline of what is going to take place, at least the major events, so I don't feel so in the dark and so I don't miss something that could make the story fall apart if it got left out. So, wish me luck. I am hoping to get it written and proffed so I can enter it in a contest on w.com but I plan on trying to submit it to some actual magazing publishers. |
*gets prepared for gut wrenching laughter after dinner tonight* I have Mr. Bean: The Whole Bean coming from Netflix tonight. *thinks it best to eat a small dinner most likely* |
That's the name of the anime I recently rented from NetFlix. So far I am in the first episode and I am really impressed. It's a mix of ancient, eastern culture and a sci-fi future. The society and customs follow an agrarian culture and they have technologically advanced people in a dominant role over everyone. So, the locals of the village where the main characters are from went in search of samurai to defend them. The series promises to be a good one and it is visually stunning also, very artistic work. |
Okay, so I guess you want to go through the wash. I am not sticking my hand in that pocket to get you out before I put the next load in the wash. *mutters more about the spider that crawled into the pocket of my khakis* I'll give you until the towels and such is done to get out and then you are going for a bath. *mutters some more* |
I hate passive agressive behavior! If you like something, say so. If you don't like something and think of a better way to do it, say so. If you don't like something and think the whole world should crash around you before you will go along with it, say so. Just don't ever, ever, ever say nothing, drag your feet and hope it will just go away! Yup, work is bugging me right now. |
How does this sound for a roleplaying event? "The king's illegitimate daughter has been kidnapped, and he's asked you to find her. Your path leads you to Hauberk, a fortified outpost at the very fringes of the kingdom. The commander there is eager to help but it doesn't take you long to discover that the real power in Hauberk lies not with the militia. Can you rescue the princess in time? A city adventure and dungeon crawl with more twists than a bent corkscrew by Christopher Clark and Gary Gygax." It's a DnD event that fits our schedule for Friday from noon to 4pm. It sounded cool to me so I booked it. |
Looks like I could not get into all the events my brother and I planned on for Origins. Yesterday was the first day of schedulting and here is what I have so far. Call of Cthulhu Star Frontiers Spycraft HeroClix: MechWarrior That leaves me several hours open on Friday before the first event happens at 6pm, so today I am going to see if I can find something else we would like to play earlier that day and schedule it. I really wanted to try out the Firefly game though. |
First... I won't see the dentist again until November sometime. Second... I have seen the best Steve Martin movie. Shopgirl |
