Welcome to Review Central



This is where our newest members of the site, 6 months or less, can post requests for items they would like reviewed, or other WDC members can request reviews for some that they have found around the site. When you post a request, feel free to take a few minutes to help a newbie or two with a review. No membership is required, so all WDC members are welcome to participate.

I have provided a separate page that houses some helpful links and other information. Please look over that page for any questions you may have. Be sure to check that page for other information that may be added or any activities. You can find all links associated with these pages by clicking on the line at the top of the page that says "Newbie Help & Support Links".


PAGE RULES


Post all items in bitem format. If you don't know how, check out "How to Post in a Forum & Post Links" .

This is not a chat room, so please refrain from posting anything other than requests or reviews. There is a forum set up for chatting, asking questions, etc. It can be found at "Newbie Help & Support Writer's Hideaway" . This is also open to all members of WDC. Unless otherwise noted, all forums and activities are open to the whole community.

*Bullet* Reviews must include this tag line which you can copy and paste into the top or bottom of your review. If you're a member of the group, you have a choice of affiliating your review with the group, or just using the tag line.

If you're not a member or you would like to affiliate your reviews with another group, pick a newbie from around the list and post the review in the this forum to be credited. Helpful Hints For Newbies


If you haven't already set up your bioblock, you should try to do it as soon as you get a chance. This is the first thing that most reviewers look at before they decide to review your work. Advertise yourself. Be creative or be serious, it's up to you.

When you're planning on writing a novel, it's always best to separate the chapters instead of putting two or more into one static item. If the item is too long, it's harder to get it reviewed. Since you are going to be limited on the amount of items that you can have in your port with a free membership, I would start off with just a few chapters at a time. You won't have enough room for all of it because of the restrictions on the size of the items. When you feel they are edited to your liking, copy and paste them into a writing program on your computer. This will help to save room for other items that may want to create before either you buy an upgraded membership, or you are gifted one.

Please remember to post in bitem format so that other members can find the item that you want to be reviewed. {bitem:#######} (replace # with the number on the left side of the item title in your port.)
