The political setting of my novel takes place during World Warll. In Britian the conservatives were in power with the awe-inspiring Winston Churchill as their Prime Minister. He became the hero of his people by "Never,Never giving up."
In America Franklin D. Roosevelt was President and became a staunch ally of Great Britian after the Japenese attacked Pear Harbor and the US entered the war.
The Soviet Union was our third ally with Stalin as its leader.
From my research, I think Churchill and Roosevelt always distrusted Stalin. This was probably fairly common knowledge.

I have found that researching is rather fun at times.
