The morning sun peers through the window begging for the sleeping to become awake. A figure rises methodically but with struggle. He finally manages to rest upright and makes the journey upward off the bed with the assistance of his cane. He staggers to the kitchen and begins fumbling around in the freezer and through careful selection grabs a box of frozen sausages. Grabbing some vegetables out of the refrigerator and a knife from the drawer, he determinedly begins cutting. Eggs are added to the pan along with the cut up vegetables and sausages. Focused on his task, he travels back to the bedroom with plate in hand. His beloved wakes up.
