October Novel Prep Challenge

I am trying not to focus on the word count, but it is like a neon sign constantly flashing before my eyes. I have made it my goal to write the novel the prep helped me to imagine, but I am trying not to let the NaNo challenge overwhelm me. I may or may not write 50,000 words this month.
