Today is Monday. I just saw the trailer for Maleficent.

For the prompt here is what you gonna do:May 5 Prompt - As a director of Maleficent, how would you start and end the movie? Give a brief summary for the beginning scenes and brief summary for the ending scenes. Be creative. I would be eager to read your posts.


A really terrible prompt. It assumes everybody knows about the movie and that everybody can play something from You Tube therefore it's the worst prompt in the hundreds of prompts used here.

Was God on Holiday?

Was God gone from the earth?
“Wipe out all the Jews from Poland,
Make Poland pure.”
Hitler’s command, “death to every Jew.”
At the end of that war, there were few.

They were God’s Chosen.
His people were blamed blamed
For the Plague,
For causing historical tragedies. Why?
“We believe in God,” they would cry.

Hatred, fear, prejudice were motives
For centuries of horrid actions,
“Kill every Jew,”
Mobs and governments demanded;
Throughout Europe, death commanded.

Look to the Jewish hearts in centuries
Long before Hitler who destroyed millions
In hellish ways.
Jewish hearts trusted God in deeper love
With daily faith, they looked only up above.

How, I’ve always wondered could Christians
Who worshipped Christ, God’s only Son,
Kill the Jews?
God Himself will judge every human heart
Who massacred His people, whatever their part.

I don’t think God was on holiday;
He was judging those not Jewish,
Who killed the Jews;
And He will punish every one of them.
For not protecting every Jew, His gem.
