As Waltz mentioned, I don't feel guilty about what I like, either. If someone wants to roll their eyes, well, that's none of my business. Do you have any idea how many "well-meaning" comments I receive about my coffee consumption? Or why I prefer "that" tequila or wine? Pfft.

My 13-year-old granddaughter is the same way. She loves taking leftovers to school for lunch. Remember that scene from My Big Fat Greek Wedding when Toula talks about the kids at school teasing her about her Greek food? Well, that happens to Sofia with her Persian food. She tells them, "It's my food, and I love it, so don't worry about it. Just eat your balogna sandwich."
