The text on many stories have shrunk on mobile and I find it very annoying. Any way to fix it?

There's no way to change the font size on someone else's item, unless you can expand the screen on your device, which on a mobile phone is probably suspect.

I often have to expand my screen on my laptop just to read other's work.

Damnit. Why did the people in charge of this website choose to shrink all the text on mobile?

Greets,

Well the easy answer here is that we didn't shrink it.

I'm not able to duplicate any shrinkage of the text on mobile via a number of test browsers and test accounts. You're also the only person who's reported this type of problem... At this time, it seems like something you did on your mobile browser by accident... The trick now is figuring out what you did and how to undo it........

Can you email me a screenshot so I can have a look at what you're seeing?

I imagine this is more of an issue with your phone's browser settings. For example, on iPhone, in your settings, there is an option called "Page Zoom." I had to change mine so that the text appears larger. I'm not sure about other browsers, but I imagine they have a similar setting within the app itself.

StoryMaster,

I am also using Android and my text size also appears smaller. I went to my settings and there it tells me the size is set to 107%.

That is odd because I usually set it at 100%.

So is this change just an android thing and nothing on your end?

EliAlien-on my android, I go to Settings then to Accessibity and there is a place to increase the size...

Greets,

I don't believe a website can force change the zoom percentage on a device... An AI search seems to confirm that...

While a site can change the size of the text, it can't directly change settings in your browser or device as a whole...

Best,

StoryMaster,

You misunderstood--I wasn't clear.

I noticed the smaller size font as I used WdC lately. I checked to see if my accessibilty was still set at 100%. It wasn't. For whatever reason, it was at 107%--very odd but odd things happen on this phone all the time AND there are almost daily upgrades.

I was just letting you know the like the other person, the font size, when viewing WdC on my android phone lately seems tiny.

What kind of interaction between the site and android phones would do this?

That was what I meant to point out...

I zoom when I need to...
