That's what I was thinking. I could see her coming into the yard every night searching for food. What got me to feeding her is when I saw her munching on the bird seed, I felt I had to do something. She tries to catch the rabbit that comes by but he's too smart and way too fast. So yes in a way, she's relying on me to keep her alive, which I'm more than happy to do. I just can't let her go hungry. It's not in my nature to. I'm too much of a softy. I'm hoping next spring, if she gets pregnant, that she will bring some kits for me to see.
Koala's I would love to hold but I'll pass on the sloth. I used to have a squirrel when I sat outside that would climb my pant leg and I'd feed him shelled peanuts. He'd make a mess all over me...lol He's never tried to climb on my shoulder but it would have be cute. He showed me a lot of trust climbing onto my knee. I haven't seen him in quite some time. I think he made have been snatched by another predator or he just passed on. I do miss him.
