** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Yes, I know the www. can be a scary place, especially to those of us sheltered by Writing.Com. But...should we keep our community a secret? NO, we need to spread the word that we are here and that Writing.Com is THE premiere writing community! How often have you read a testimonial stating they just happened upon us? Well, no more just happening upon us...let's go out there and pique their interest. As a member of "Crusaders of Writing.Com", you will be required to peruse the www. at least once a week for new writers/artists who deserve to know about Writing.Com, and you MUST sign their guestbook. Then post the url to their site on the posting board. Please, if you notice another member has already extended an invitation, do NOT flood their guestbook with further invitations. (I suggest you copy and save the url to a word document and then post in forum when you sign in.) You may use your own sig and, if interest prevails, we will create our own signature to use in guestbooks. To accomplish this task, you might use Yahoo, Google, or a search engine of your choice, and do a search for stories, poetry, writers, original artwork, etc. Then pick a site, and if you feel they would be an asset to Writing.Com, leave a few kind words in their guestbook, and suggest they check us out. Or you could also advise them that you will be sending an e-mail with a link to Writing.Com (using the 'Tell A Friend' feature). Using this feature, you will receive credit for referring, if owner of site joins Writing.Com. If you choose to use 'Tell A Friend', you MUST still sign the guestbook. As an active member of this group, you MUST post one url a week. Not much effort considering what you will be offering creator of the site that you visit, and Writing.Com with new members to read and enjoy! I challenge you to help Writing.Com grow through discovering new, talented writers and/or artists!  This forum encourages OT posts...let's support Writing.Com, but have a fun time doing it.
