This is an interactive story containing 39 chapters. Each chapter tells part of the story and (usually) ends with multiple choices. Click on a choice and you'll be lead to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, you will have the option to write it! Don't be shy... make an addition!

In this world, humanity, like certain species of frogs and shellfish, is able to change sexes more or less at will. If they wanted to, a boy could "Shift" into a girl or a girl could "Shift" into a boy. The process is a physical one, not just a simple "poof" and clothing change.

Which brings us to the rules:

1. The Shifting process is a physical one. That is, the mind stays the same, but the body changes, in a serious transformation process. Clothing does not change.

2. Some people may be of the sort that changes involuntarily, should you so choose.

3. Sexual preferences are mere window dressing. Since anyone can be any gender they wish, loving someone comes down to the person themselves, regardless of their sex.

4. Homosexuality is by all means allowed, if you feel the occasion calls for it.

5. Kissing and describing body parts are okay, but let's try to keep things age-appropriate. Unsatisfactory postings may be deleted at my whim.

6. Biology plays a big factor here. Switching or Shifting ends at adulthood. The pregnant must remain female during gestation. Children need to learn to "Monogender", as it were.
