Chapter #5

Something Lovecraftian

    by: Unknown
James crossed his arms impatiently as he waited for his friends to finish brushing their teeth, James and his friends, Nick and Trent, were 9, 8, and 8 years old (in order), and were all good friends since their families all were members of the local nudist clubs. They'd grown up together and where one was, the other two weren't far behind, in appearance, James was a skinny white boy with brown hair, Nick was an average build albino black boy (always using his SPF 2000 sunscreen), and Trent was a taller than average Asian boy.

"Are you guys done yet?" James called down the cabin.

"Coming!" Nick answered, Trent not too far behind him.

"Lets go!" James pointed off in the distance, and the three young nudists took off to the lake, intent on catching up with the rest of the boys for a swim before lunch. As they ran past the dining area (just a bunch of benches under an overhang with a large grill being tended to by Ms. Luci, she waved at them, reminding them to listen to the counselors.

James and his friends were at the age where they didn't hang out with girls too much, they all thought that girls looked silly without peepee's and that's boobies were silly things. They also couldn't wait to finally grow body hair and show that they were 'big boys', but for now, they were hairless below the neck.

Finally at the lake, Lilly was there, and waved them to the lake, before getting distracted by her hair again, how that girl survives with the attention span of a puppy is a mystery. James and his friends all cannonballed off the pier into the lake, splashing with the other boys, and fighting over who was king of the hill, a tethered wooden platform in the middle of the lake. James managed to shove Trent, the oldest boy at the camp at 10 years old, off the platform before being pushed off by Nick and Trent who had started to tag team everybody.

But as they all played, James felt a weird presence, he couldn't see it, but knew it was in the woods. The other boys did too, and they all looked at the woods next to Lilly, who was trying to catch a butterfly, having forgotten her charges in the lake.

James and the boys felt strange, unsure of what was going on, it was like a shiver running up their spine and into their brains, telling them to run, but the unfamiliarity with the sensation caused them to freeze instead. Treading water as the presence loomed closer.

You have the following choices:

*Pen*
1. The presence/thing grabs Lilly

*Pen*
2. It goes away, for now. (Lunch time!)

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
