This choice: Some type of impending merger or a merged roommate waiting for him. • Go Back...Chapter #7Merged with his roommate by: Ctbro   As Daniel walks through the door, he sees his roommate Brian sitting on the couch reading some thick book. "Hey dude." He greets Brian.
Brian sets down the manual he was rereading. While waiting for his roommate, he wanted to double check a portion of the remote's instructions. The manual was pretty clear: only the wielder or the target, with specific reality altering adjustments, would be aware of any changes. However, Brian did find in the fine print that he could expand the 'wielder' function. He was pleased to know that he and Daniel could both become aware of any changes the either made.
"Hey dude, how was work?" Brian smiled as he gently held the remote in his lap.
"Terrible... as usual." Daniel crossed the room and sat beside his friend. "How was yours?"
"The usual, still girlfriendless. Though, I did receive something very... interesting in the mail today." Brian held out the remote for his friend to see.
"A TV remote?" Daniel questioned, obviously skeptical about how 'interesting' the remote was.
"Let me give you a demonstration." He smiled, more than willing to show off its power to his roommate. Brian pointed the remote at Daniel to collect his physical and mental data, and to give him the ability to be aware of modifications made my the remote. Brian made some adjustments to his friend's body and activated the remote. Instantly, Daniel's body grew muscle and his years of obtained fat from being a gamer disappeared.
Daniel's widened in shock. He stood and stared at his modified body. "What the hell?" His clothes were rather baggy now, and he had to hold onto his pants with one hand. He used his other hand to raise his shirt. He was not anywhere near body builder muscular, but he was slim and had a rather toned body. He shifted his gaze to Brian. "The remote did this?"
"Yeah, let me explain." Brian could not hold in his enthusiasm as he explained what he had learned about this powerful device.
"So... this remote can almost do anything." Daniel said, summing it up quickly.
"Yeah, basically. And the kicker is that we can both be aware of the changes. We can do a lot of pranks and shift with this thing." Brian smiled.
"How about we do something for ourselves first?" Daniel had a gleam in his eyes.
"Oh? I'm listening." Brian sat back in the sofa.
"Your still without a girlfriend, and I have one, a hot one."
"Yeah." Brian agreed with him. Daniel, despite being a fat gamer when he met her, had stolen the heart of a very beautiful and bright lady.
"We could... share her?" The gleam in Daniel's eyes returned. "Hear me out." Daniel said, raising his hand to stop Brian from saying an complaints. "Don't repeat this. My girlfriend would be upset if I told anyone. Jolie, can get pretty kinky. She has an unusual fetish with twins. Conjoined twins. She's always wanted to have... some kind of threesome, I guess." Brian raised his eyebrows. "I know you could easily make a perfect girlfriend for you, but why not try this out, at least once."
Brian pondered it for a moment; Daniel's girlfriend, Jolie, was gorgeous and smart. But, he had the distinct feeling that Jolie was not the only one who had a weird interest in conjoined twins. "Dude..." Brian smirked. "You know what, sure. Let's give this fetish thing a try. But, I don't want to look like you. We either keep our faces as they are or you make yourself my twin."
Daniel brightened when he heard Brian agree. "Okay, fine. Now hand me the remote. I know how Julie would like to see us as." Brian hesitated for a second before handing Daniel the remote. Daniel curiously examined the remote before getting to work on adding Brian's data. He set the remote to the merging function "You ready?" He asked, and Brian nodded. Daniel slid closer on the couch until they were sitting side by side. Daniel wrapped his free right arm around Brian's shoulders. Daniel activated the remote.
A moment later, there was only one young man's body sitting on the couch. "Oh shit, this is weird." Brian said as he stared at what he had become, half of a two-headed man. He and Daniel were joined to a single combined body. Their shoulders appeared broad and strong enough to support both of their necks and heads. Brian turned to look at Daniel who looked just as he did moments ago, aside from the fact that he was firmly attached to his left shoulder. He figured that Daniel made them keep their appearance. Though, that did make Brian a little curious about how this altered reality saw them.
Brian raised his right hand, the only one he had command over. He looked to where his left arm should have been, but it was clearly Daniel's darker skinned left hand. That hand was still clutching the remote. "Where did the rest of us go? We're like two half-bodies joined together."
"Does it really matter. Inside us, I guess." Daniel dropped the remote by his side. He used his only hand, the left, to raise their blended shirt. Their toned abdomen looked strange to both of them. Their two skin tones met and mixed in the middle, making a sort of dividing line between them. Daniel figured that this 'line' was all around their body. He smirked. "Think of all the money we can also now save. Sharing a stomach so we don't need to buy as much food. Getting one movie or plane ticket for both of us."
Brian rolled his eyes, not as impressed by the ways they can save money. He pulled their shirt back over their stomach. "Don't forget why I agreed to this. Let's call over that girlfriend of ours."   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
